When I go back, I definitely plan to stay at this hotel in Kathmandu. Much of the architecture incorporates windows and components hundreds of years old. It's really amazing.

Festival

It was festival time while we there. This was one of the prettier scenes. Hard to see an animal being slaughtered on the street.

Lawnmower

Yes, he has a pair of garden clippers and he is cutting the grass. And, evidently he needs supervision!

Street Scene

The natives live on their horns and there are a variety of beeping styles: "move over", "I'm coming up behind you", "watch out", and "uh oh".

Not sure

I couldn't resist this -- and I was giggling so hard I couldn't hold the camera straight. Not sure of the exact translation, but evidently there's a sliding scale depending upon facility usage.

Doc in a box

Yes, this is the medical hall along a village street in the mountains.

Water supply

The village ladies gather at the one village water supply -- here they wash dishes, wash themselves, and get water.
