Hey Aunt Janice! I was just checking to see what's new. I like the way you put recipes on here. They sound good I am thinking of trying to make that pudding cake. I think it was blueberry. I am sure it wont taste as good as yours. Joe and I are doing great. I just wanted to pop in and say hello.

I, like Thomas, am impressed. Of course, I consider myself a very blessed person to have a family like mine! Jan, you are so talented, and you have a way of encouraging others to find and use their talents. I really enjoyed our time together and look forward to spending more time with you while my body heals and plan to view bakerbites as often as my body will let me!

My,my,my you never fail to be be the best of the best.I have enjoyed what you have done so much.Thank you.
The story of your father bought to mind a time when I was 15 or 16 and at your house visiting. Yes, it was late and just home from Papa Johns (for the younger crowd no it was not todays Papa Johns, this was the one and only Papa Johns) Midnight or later and Uncle Buddy is showing off this new way of cooking. He had a New York strip on a plate with some corn from a can I believe and they where in this thing called a micro wave. They they were going around and around, he said get ready son this is going to be a treat. He was right, I loved it, mostly because he cooked it "for me".I have so many great memories of being with your family.I am grateful you like to cook just like your father but honey let me tell you,his way of cooking and your Art of making food taste and smell like, well my vocabulary is not up to the task of finding the right word or words needed to define such a treat to the senses.Anyway they are two different ways of cooking but both wonderful in there own way.
Good luck in your new adventure (I did not read it all but is it like a retirement home?) Just kidding, I just had to say it.
Love,Richard

My son (Thomas) has just pointed out to me that I should post a comment since I have been following your journal entries regularly. This is really neat! Although having known you for most of your life and all of mine I am not surprised that this, like your other endeavors, would be first class.
